My wife's parents don't have a last name. They use their first name, and all their documentation (passports, visas) have only one name.

I read somewhere that in situations like this we're supposed to put the first name in the Last Name field and leave the First Name field blank. I can't do that cause the form doesn't let me proceed unless I fill in both a last name and a first name.

I've put in NA in the last name field

So, should I write an LOE? If yes, then I'd probably need then to send me scans of their passports, right?

Anyone been through this before?

Put . in the last name column and write a LoE to explain that.
