My Fiancee and I have just recently become engaged last month. She is a Canadian Citizen while I reside in the southern United States. Now we were planning on marrying this December in a civil ceremony to apply for spousal sponsorship for my immigration. However, we have just become pregnant and my move to Canada needs to be as swift as possible so I can be there for every development of our baby! We are very excited but also very lost in how to apply and which form of immigration we need to use.
Any advice or direction would be most appreciated!

You have to be either married or common law in order for her to sponsor you for PR. Common law means that you have lived together for at least one full year continuously (i.e. together at the same address). If you haven't lived together, the earliest your fiancee will be able to sponsor you is after you get married in December. If your move to Canada needs to be as swift as possible - change your plans and get married now.
