Hi,

On November 2012, I have been approved to Sponsor my parents and my siblings and my file has been forwarded to the VO in Mexico. The application was submitted in 2008 when my siblings were under 22 and single. One of my siblings married on July 2012. My question is will I still be eligible to sponsor my sibling with his spouse? or my sibling will be removed from the Sponsorship application?

Thanks

Your married sibling will be removed from the application.

If your sibling decides to tell a white lie and not admit to being married, then come to Canada......... he or she will never be able to sponsor his/her spouse. It also puts your sibling at risk for being stripped of PR and banned from Canada. I'm not sure if it could negatively effect your parents, other siblings, or even yourself.

Make sure your sibling correct her/his martial status. There are other ways to come to Canada and some give points to having family in Canada, so you can help that way.
