hi folks:
I've submitted application for my parents and AOR is on July 22, 2010. Yesterday, 2014 July 29, I've received another letter from CIC asking for more documents.
Here is my question:
I understand this is just the first step which is evaluating my sponsorship. Once it's passed , do they still have to
go through the second phase which is to be processed in the visa office abroad? That's another 55 months in Beijing or 12 months in HongKong.

If it's gonna take another 55 months, we'll probably withdraw it as it's useless .

thanks

Hui

I also applied on July 2010 and received a letter today asking for more information.

They want 2 Option c print out. One the year i applied and the previous year. So 2010 and 2009 i think. Can any one confirm me the minimum income required for 7 member for 2010 and 2009? Current requirements is more than what was on 2009.

But in 2010 it was only 60K. Do i need to have 60K or 76K as per current requirement?

Thanks all.

If 60K was for minimum LICO for a family of 7 for 2010, then that is the requirement for that year. In order words, you must make at least 60K in year 2010.

Parents are in lowest scale of priorities of the Harper Government,
they are unlikely to vote ever... so it doesn't matter to them.
I am so sad to see your timeline,
My wife would like to sponsor her mother but with this timelines
I feel so disappointed ....
Thank you for sharing...
and just a though... if you already began... just let it go... and don't have
too much hopes.... what will be the difference between withdrawing and not doing
anything.... maybe in another 55 month they will have a visa...

:'( :'( :'( :'( :( :( :( :( :(
