Parent name has spelling mistake

Hi,

My mom's name has a minor spelling mistake. There is an 'A' in the place of 'E' in her name . My birth certificate, my canadian applications is different from her passport name spelling. I filed according to my birth certificate. My father's passport also has her name listed as spouse according to my birth certificate name. When I apply visitor visa for her in the future, will this be an issue. can I submit an affidavit? will that be acceptable?

You can either get your mother's passport corrected by applying for a new one.

You can also get the same name affidavit from your mother when you submit the application.
