No embassy returns submitted application forms. However, if you send your original documents as requested, then they'll be returned back after assessment. Some Canadian embassies may need only photo copies of your documents. You may check the website of the CIC office where you'll be submitting your application.

The main study permit application form will not be returned but any document you attached will be returned especially the originals.
