Painters and decorators described below are skill level B and can potentially qualify in the CEC.

Industrial painters are skill level D and are not eligible to apply in the CEC.

IF you are NOC 7294, then it is considered skilled and does qualify.

But if you enter the key word "painter" you will see LOTs of varied NOCs... Lots of different things that can be painted. Some are classifed as skilled, some are not.

i check the noc 7294 and i come under it. i also check job duties which match with my job as well. i am not sure about employment requirement those does not match with me but company hired me on payroll. so does these employment requirement necessary? one more thing my 1500 hours are completing before 1 year. can i start my process before 1 year or not?

No, you cannot start the process before gaining one year of experience.

No, current CEC instructions to VOs explicitly state that employment requirements do not apply, unless it is a regulated occupation.

For NOC 7294, certification is voluntary for all provinces in Quebec (so, it is not requlated). As for education, "Completion of secondary school is usually required," Basically, there are no requirements for this position.
