Hi All,

I am in the process of packing my bags these days.
Wanted to take the general opinion about should we carry food like daals, maggie, rice, wheat, sugar, chai-pati etc in little quantity or not?
I know everyhting is available in canada.
I am carrying cooking utensils like cooker, frying pan, tawa, chakla belan etc.But I am bit confused about the food articles.

I am carrying summer clothes as well, and obv winter ones its better to purchase from there.

Your opinion/suggestion will be appreciated ! :)

Yes u can carry everythng but pack it properly sealed n all.Try to carry maggie, ready to make packets more, that wil help you more.
Dnt carry any aluminium foils, they create a problem in security checking.

Hi, I think this link could be helpful:
http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/pub/bsf5082-eng.html#s2x1

Here you can see what you can bring (with amounts) and what you cannot?

Good luck!

Yes, even i got to know the same,
Just getting some inital basic stuff, like 1 packet daal, and lots of maggie noodles, chai pati and sugar (1/2 kgs each)
Carrying more of clothes, and utensils too.
