I am landing in Toronto on March 9th
I need some help regrading the packing list ??
What all should we bring to Canada.??

Depending on where you from and your personal needs. No simple question.

Here is some legal info about what you can and can't

Otherwise very few things you cannot get here (usually confined to home country specific delicacies) and even those are often available in CD

If you live in a country with 220V electricity now, don't bother with appliances. Canada operates on 110V. Cheaper to just buy new ones here (rather than battling with transformers). Get warranties and other voltage appliances do not last (even with transformer)

For some specialised personal items, you may have to talk to Canada food inspection agency as well.

Hello Akhil,

Best place to find packing list for Canada would be Student forums. Thousands of Indian students move to Canada every year and most of them use Packing List provided by University seniors. You will find such lists on University Website , International Student forums etc.

You should not worry too much abt grocery items
I would recommend getting basic utensils like kafai, cooker etc as they are quite costly here
Get some badic medicines as u might not adjust to to the ones available hete

If you are an Indian, take a pressure cooker. I am an Indian living in the uk. I took a pressure cooker from india when I moved to the uk. I moved to an apartment that had induction cooking and I had to replace all my dishes. I bought a pressure cooker from the uk and it ended up being a silent cooker. I am used to the whistle and it took me a burnt dish to realise the cooker did not make a noise. That was a bit change for the way I cook.
