We applied PR through family sponsorship for my US born son and received P1 email to confirm basic information and whether we are inside or outside canada. We were in Canada during the application process but due to work we are currently residing in USA and will be back to Canada after a year.
1. Should we mention that we are outside canada? What will be the next steps? Will the application be on hold till we confirm we are inside Canada?
2. Go to Canada in the next few days and inform that we are inside Canada? Can we travel back after replying? What happens after we get P2? Travel back again as the kid is US citizen? What are the next steps?
3. Is there any other way to inform and have a different process for soft landing?
