OWP while waiting for inland PR

Can anyone who is going thru inland process apply for this OWP ?

Can people who are out of status for example for overstaying a tourist permit apply for owp and at what stage do they get their status back?

OWP is available for an Inland applicant (regardless of status) as soon as they reach the first stage approval- AIP. If you did not send the OWP application with your Inland sponsorship application, you must wait until you reach AIP before sending it in.

Unfortunately it will NOT restore your status.

Your status will not be restored until you actually become a PR.
