OWP under spousal piliot program

I submitted my application sponsorship, PR, OWP in January 2016. In may my applications where returned because I fill out the wrong form. I am inland and fill out the out form. So I re sent everything and my application was received and issued a app number, may 19, 2016. As of today my application still only states received. I am not able to link my application to my cic. It was my understanding the the open work permit under the piliot program should only take 4 months, we are going on 5 months. My husband is Canadian, my children born in the USA now have there Canadian citizenship. And I can't help support my family. I have maintained a current visitor record since entering Canada with zero lapse. Any recommendations or updates on current wait time for OWP under the piliot program would be appreciated. Also, is it normal to not be able to link my application in my cic, or for it to still say received after almost 5 months. Everything was submitted to Mississauga and and fees paid, police checks done. Thank you in advance for any info.

You are just over the 4 month timeframe. You could call the call centre, or you can try to locate your OWP application under your myCIC account.
