My wife just got her LOA and we're getting ready to apply for her Student Permit. However, we're in doubt weather she should be the principal applicant, and add me (and my OWP) as a dependent or the other way around.
The reason for this is that I am the one with the proof of funds, and I will be the one working to support the both of us. Filling the questionnaire both ways leads to different checklists. If she is the Principal Applicant, there is an item for Proof of Funds, but no item for ler LOA. If we switch around the application and apply for my OWP as the principal applicant, there is no Proof of Funds requirement, but there is an item for her LOA.
