OWP Extension after passport expiry

I am waiting for owp like everyone else. My passport expires in March 2021. Whenever I get my owp, it will also expire then. It looks like I won’t have PR by then, so is it possible to extend my owp after I get a new passport? Or will I have to quit my job when it expires? My country won’t issue me a new passport yet.

Yes, you can apply to extendteh OWP after you get a new passport. You want to make sure that you renew your passport and submit the application to extend to IRCC before your current OWP expires next March to avoid falling out of status / having to stop working. As long as your extension reaches IRCC before your current OWP expires, you'll be good.
