OWP and New Passport

Hi,

We applied for spousal PR in June and sent in the application for the OWP in December. However, my husband just got a new passport as his old one was expiring. Can we update the OWP application before it's processed or will we have to send in a whole new one?

Hi

Email a copy of the new passport to Vegreville. If they issue the OWP without noting the change, it will be valid until the expiry date of the old passport. He could then apply to extend the OWP using his new passport.
