Overstayed in US, can I still enter Canada? (Italian passport)

Hi, my question is, would I have any problems to visit Canada if coming from the US where I overtayed my 90 days visa for about 3 years?
I am holding an Italian valid Passport.

Did anybody went through a situation like this before? or at least knows anybody else in this kind of situation?

I have to travel foe 3 days to have a medical procedure in Vancouver and I don´t know what to do.

Since you overstayed by 3 years in the U.S., the Canadian border officer may question whether or not you intend to leave Canada. You may want to have a return ticket to Italy when you present yourself at the Canadian border. If you are turned back to the U.S., you will likely be detained and deported.

Agreed. If you leave the US this will trigger a ten year ban (i.e. a ten year ban from the US).
