Hi
I am 60 years old grandmother visiting my children on Visitor Visa and my 180 days will be completed soon, I booked my return flight on 178th day from entry in Canada, but It got cancelled, now I have booked another flight which will cause 5 days of overstay in Canada, So now I have to stay for 185 days instead of 180 days.
My concern is that will it affect my entry in Canada or PR/Super Visa application in Future?

No, a five day overstay for this kind of reason will cause no issue at all. Just keep records of the flight cancellation and the new flight. And don't worry about it :)

Always an interesting debate on what the actual definition is of 6 months is it 180 days or 365/2 so 182.5 days ? On the IRCC site it implies visitors can stay for 6 months so I personally would go with the 365/2 definition but guess everyone can decide themselves given plenty of non IRCC sites imply 180 days.

Anyway as 21 goose implies a few days over not an issue especially when out of someones control.
