Hello there,

I ha've the following major situation ,about outside sponsorship, my wife and i we stuck in a situation and we confused, we got married in a Islamic way in a 2018 in sweden, after the marriage, and being a honey moon together in a sweden later we requested a marriage license to provide us the office in sweden, we went together both of us there to file all documentation We had, there is one thing was not include our files and that was my country passport, it took to them to respond our request for 4 weeks, finally its rejected, they said we need your passport us a your identity, infect i told them i can find my country passport which they don’t believe or trust because of my country documents is no longer they trust sance after civil war 1991 which is somali, and the main major problem we have is i'm asylum still in sweden, i don't get my permit to stay in sweden still my process asylum still open pending , i don't know how long it takes , therefor my wife is pregnant and we missing each other so much,

( but remember we have our islamic marriage paper and other more proofs , like staying together in honey moon etc.


any thoughts and tips would be highly appreciated

The marriage certificate was not issued because you did not provide your passport for identification......i guess they need the passport to be able to identify you.........so in the absence of your passport, don't you have any other acceptable ID to provide........you are currently seeking asylum in Sweden, i guess you are probably working with a Swedish lawyer on your asylum case, and if yes........will suggest you ask for the Swedish lawyer's assistance if they could help get your marriage certificate.......just try maybe it may help.

Thank you wakki, infect i don't have other ID to show them, except my driver license for my country and they said its not acceptable for driving license , but thanks for recommending me to discuss with my lawyer this issue, i wish he is gonna help me ,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,this is really good idea wakki,
