(Outland Spousal Sponsorship) Bank account under my wife name, is this okay?

I am permanent resident in Canada and will be sponsoring my wife. We both have a joint account back in our home country but she is the primary bank account holder and I am only secondary.

Can I show this joint bank account in the sponsorship application to make our case stronger?
