Hi all,

I am currently sponsoring my Nigerian spouse to Canada. Our application was received on January 31, and we've received AOR1, SA and medical request.

Does anyone know the average time it takes for Nigerian applicants?

The target timeline is 12 months. It's not uncommon for applications to be processed faster than 12 months (particularly outland apps) but it's a case by case basis and depends largely on the efficiency of the visa office and complexity of the application.
