Hello All,

My husband is Canadian and I am American. About two weeks ago I landed back in the states and we are now proceeding to file our application outland. Prior to that we discussed doing it inland but because of the timing and a few other factors, we thought it would be more feasible if I returned to the states so that I could work here in the meantime.

From what we understood when we were planning on filling it when I was in Canada, the whole packet (part one and two) were to be mailed in together. Since we are now apart, do we have to send our parts seperately -- or would it be best if I mail him my part of the application so that he can put it all together and mail it as a whole from Canada?

If we have to mail it seperately, do I have to wait until his part is processed before I send in my part?

Thank you all for your time!

both parts get sent in together as one at the same time...

your welcome and good luck!

And double check the forms. The inland and outland forms may be different, as there are different links on the CIC website.
