Outland Fees

Greetings!

A little paranoid, so forgive a more-common-than-most question...

I just paid the $1040 on the CIC site for Outland. I chose Mississauga as my CPC. I have the PDF receipt (Copy 2) which I will fill out with my info, and include with the application.

Please confirm; it WAS OK to do the $1040 at once, correct? I read another thread that said to ONLY pay the sponsor part for Mississauga, and then do a separate payment to Buffalo. Mississauga will take their portion, and give the rest to Buffalo, right? So I should be all done?

Yes you did the right thing paying for every thing all at once. You do not have to pay the Right of Residency fee up front, but if you choose to do so it will not add any more time to your application being processed.

If you look closely at the CIC website, if you choose NOT to pay the ROF fee at the beginning it could add 2 months to your application processing time. So paying it right away will help things go smoothly at the end.

You don't have anything to worry about.
