Hi All,

For Outland Family Sponsorship, there are couple of supporting Documents for which I need clarification.

1) Identity and Civil Status documents
2) Travel Documents and Passport.

Which documents will hold good as a proof for Identity and Civil Status and Travel documents?

Regards

I sent in copies of the passport and drivers license for both my husband and myself.

I know the passport not required for the sponsor, but my passport is still in my maiden name and my ID in my married name. So I just wanted to show proof of that and why it is all in one name for the papers(matching my passport) but I signed another. Also, I used the passport to show all my visas visiting him.

Thanks MadeinCanada,

I am in India currently and my wife is PR in Canada. As part of second point in my question, is passport copy enough as proof for Travel Documents?

What about the first point? - 1) Identity and Civil Status documents

Regards

Your national ID card and or birth certificate. We sent both.

A copy of your passport is enough.

Sorry I missed seeing your question until now!

Identity and Civil Status Documents?

do you have national identity in India if yes then that's it. If no just leave it blank
