Hi everyone,

I understand this is my best bet. I am married to a Canadian Resident and plan to move to NS in May. We are also expecting our first child in August so timing is quite important. We both currently live in the UK so am interested in any advice on applying for Spousal residency from the UK.

We have looked at the firms and it it quite confusing regarding addresses etc for my wife. Is there anyone I can speak with for help filling in the firms? Will my wife need a job guarantee in NS for us to apply? It is a little early for that as we are moving in 6 months.

Also I have a £1000 per month pension coming in so I am hop in this will be useful in showing I am not a financial liability.

I would really appreciate any help with this.

Thanks so much

Apply outland from the U.K now . You don't have to show any income it doesn't matter what you earn .What's the important thing is that your wife have solid proof that she is going to return to Canada .

As for address don't leave any time lapse, this is critical If you don't have postal codes look them up on line . We didn't know exact dates of every address my husband lived but we had approx and that's all we could do .

Read over the forms and if your stuck ask again here . The first time i looked at them i broke down and thought i needed a lawyer , then i joined this site and every one was so helpful .

Please join us on the London outland thread . We have a Q&A sheet which will help you so much
