I'll ask perhaps a silly question here. I am planning to sponsor my spouse using the outland method.
In the guide, it specifies the size of the envelope (23 cm x 30.5 cm / 9″ x 12″) that is to be used when my wife sends over her completed forms and signed documents.
It is in fact listed as Step 3 to have the applicant mail the contents to the sponsor at a Canadian address.
However I had met up with my spouse in person recently so therefore I was able to obtain all of the required forms and supporting documents from her in person. Therefore there's no need for the mailing.
Will the CIC reject my application as the contents/forms from my wife weren't mailed over but instead picked up in person? I don't think it should matter as long as all documents are signed and complete. But maybe somebody here has had a bad experience? Thanks for your input!
