Hello! I'm slowly making my way through all the forms and it now seems a lot easier than I first imagined. If someone could answer these questions, it would help so much!

My husband and I both live in Korea. He's a Korean citizen, I'm a Canadian citizen.

(1) On the document checklist #17 is "Your last Notice of Assessment for the most recent taxation year." I have worked in Korea for the past 8 years and am considered a non-resident of Canada so I have only paid taxes in Korea. Do I need to submit translated tax information from Korea, in that case?

(2) On the Generic Application Form for Canada it asks for "date and place of your last entry to Canada." My husband has only ever lived in Korea but visited Canada once last summer with me. Do I put in the date and place of that visit?

(3) The Sponsored Spouse/Partner Questionnaire - questions 24-26 (Maintaining Contact). I'm not sure how to fill these in. We live together and have been physically together since we first met. So do I tick yes or no to "Has your sponsor visited you during the period of your relationship" and "Have you visited your sponsor during the period of your relationship?"

Thank you so much! This is such a helpful forum. :)

Hi

1. Include a letter explaining you have no NOA because you have not been a resident in Canada for 8 years.

2. That question doesn't apply unless the applicant is IN Canada. It should be greyed out.

3. You can tick yes or no and then just state "We live together".

I'm gonna high jack this post! haha

I was also wondering about Question 2! My partner has been to Canada before, but not in Canada at the moment. I wanted to put in the date when he visited Canada but it's greyed out.. I guess that's normal?

Also... If my partner has already dealt with CIC when applying for his TRV, he should have a UCI # right? Where do I find that??

Thank you so much for your reply! I had printed off the forms to do a rough draft so that's why I didn't notice the greyed out box for #2.

Yes.

It should be on his visa, in the format 0000-0000.
