Outdated Forms: How long will CIC accept old version form after changing to new version

I have submitted my application to sponsor family class on Aug 1, 2017. The forms I used are IMM008 (03-2017) & IMM1344E (08-2014) but since then CIC updated form to IMM008 (06-2017) & IMM1344E (06-2017). My question is, How long will CIC accept old version? Will all the forms being return? and if so, after how long will they return? it doesn't say on CIC website.

There is no hard and fast rule that I am aware of.

Before you actually send the forms in, it is a very good idea to make a final check of the CIC website to ensure that they forms you are sending are ALL the latest ones - I know how people complete the pack progressively over weeks or months (I did) and can easily fall into sticking with old forms.

I guess it depends on how major the changes are, sometimes they are so small, I simply couldn't spot them, other times, they are significant and could possibly lead to rejection (or more likely a request for a new version of the form). If you want to try to ease your worries, might be worth comparing the versions you sent in with the latest versions to try to spot the differences, then decide whether they are major or just minor tweaking.

Nothing you can do about it now anyway other than wait I am afraid!
