Outdated application form

Dear Friends.

I accidentally sent to CIC the old Schedule 3 with my application. Now I am bid worried. Please answer me the following.

If CIC received my application on September 11 and lets say the new Schedule 3 was published on CIC website on September 15 - Will it be all right or they will refuse my application?

Till now I didn't heard a thing from CIC - Is there a way I could submit this form to CIC and how?

I think it will be ok in the first case, otherwise they will ask you to send them only newly filled form.

From last year view, i understood that they are returning applications if an old application is submitted.

do you know what is day the new schedule 3 was announced (the one currently on the CIC website says only month and year - August 2014).

You are fine as long as you downloaded the file after the start of this year's program. The changes are minimal and the update was done after the program began, so your application won't be rejected for that. Last year's applications were rejected because the updated forms had HUGE changes since FSW rules were changed last year.

Thank you for clearing this up. Generally, if I missed something (lets say a supporting document) to include with my application - and before the issuance of AER or PER, is there a way I could send it to CIC prior to their asking (to save time and avoid returning the documents)?

If possible please share your experience. So far I haven't heard from CIC yet.

You can send the additional document to CIC with a coverletter and all your identifying info. But it is not a guarantee that CIC will join it to the original application. We do have some people who have done this successfully.
