I know that out of status spouses could be sponsored last time I read the guide....but just wondering if anything changed ??? thanks!

You can apply as a sponsor if your spouse, common-law or conjugal partner, or accompanying dependent children live with you in Canada, even if they do not have legal status in Canada. However, all the other requirements must be met.
Thank you! I know I read it awhile back but couldn't find it today so just wanted to make sure They didnt change it ...and they didnt ! Whew
