Hey guys, I applied for my SOWP on 30th June 2025 after receiving my AIP. I was out of status before that. I’d really appreciate it if anyone who was previously out of status and got their SOWP successfully could share their timeline. Thanks a lot!

That's a good question. I have a friend who was out of status and applied for WP last February. Nothing so far. He sent his application in September 2024. After this waiting time, I think that he won't get his WP.

- AOR: June 2, 2025
- Bio-metrics Letter: June 4, 2025
- Prearrival services Letter: - June 5, 2025
- PA Eligibility / AIP: June 6, 2025
- Sponsor Eligibility: June 6, 2025
- SOWP submitted: June 30, 2025
Chances are you will likely receive PR before SOWP which is why most just wait.
IRCC has processed your application fast. My spouse is an April 9 applicant and only got a biometric request. Well... you might get WP. Who knows?! IRCC is unpredictable.
