Im not sure of this q has been asked yet...but I have 1y old daughter born in canada...my husband is Canadian citizen and she is Canadian citizen also...We haven't applied for child tax yet due to me being out of status...I know that father can receive the tax in case he is primary caregiver....He isn't, I am....I'm a stay at home mom so I take care of her...But I'm out of status...so can he still send application to His name to get child tax??...and if I send my info to CRA...will they report me as out of status??...Im scared...i dont know what to do...But we need this $$s...its NOT for me...its for our daughter and she is Canadian and should get it just like all other kids....any advice?? Thank you!
