On our country specific immigrant's guide, it mentions to provide originals of a bunch of items related to proof of relationship. The first one is wedding photos, so along those lines, I'm assuming all photos.. question is, do they really need originals? All the photos we ever took were taken on phones so we printed them all out made a long timeline type document.

Would this be acceptable, or is there some form of original photos they're expecting that I'm missing?

You have to send them the actual phone.

Na I'm kidding, yes printing them out from the digital version is still an "original". They probably don't want copies of photo albums and the like, since wedding photos are often professionally done.

I just printed ours on a regular bond paper. Colored of course.

Even our wedding photos were not professionally done, just on an iPhone. They're all printed out in colour but I mean that's the most we have, no professional photos or 'originals' everything these days is digital so hopefully it will suffice.

That's perfectly fine. I saved on ink by getting Walmart to print the photos (just picked their smallest, cheapest option). You can submit all the photos online and pick them up.

We wanted to keep ours as part of the document timeline we made - so the wedding photos there are placed relative to the other photos.

We could get them printed at a studio and paperclip them on but it essentially removes them from the timeline.

Do you think it would be fine to just keep them in the word document, printed on a regular printer? Colour of course.

Yes, that's what most people do.

Thanks for all the replies. Along the same lines, I hope things like print outs of phone bills are acceptable - again, never receive originals, all that stuff goes to my email so I can print them out and highlight phone calls to each other.

Same with airline tickets etc.

Yes, all fine.
