Original Nikkah Nama Marriage certificate

Hi: Islamabad embassy asked me to submit original Nikkah nama in Urdu ( I have already submitted one Translated in English), Is this a norm, and whythey need original one ??

Yes they need original Nikkah Nama in urdu its their requirement everyone submits it so you should also.

Hi Aslam,

It is normal and also a requirement in Part 3 of the spousal sponsor immigration package specific to geographic region for Pakistan that the original marriage certificate (Nikah Nama) and certified english or french translation both have to be included in application.

Nikah Nama is in Urdu and that is the offical document of marriage, the certified english translation is exactly that, a translated version of the original marriage certificate they want to verify.
