Could you please state your details here. i.e time-line, your date of application, AOR , NOC etc
Yes, some applicants are requested to submit their originals which I think depends on the country of the applicant.
Verification depends on how quickly they get a response from the concerned authorities. Normally 3-6 Months, I guess.

Hi,

My understanding is that the CIC/CHC will return the original documents later only. The visa office requested one original certificate from me,because the stamp on the certified copy I submitted was not perfectly clear. After 2 months i mailed visa office but did not respond. Perhaps may be for the reason that the CIC will not pay for courier. I sent an international return courier envelope ( paid) for PPR and they returned the certificate and extra photos together with PP and CPR kit. Perhaps this procedure may vary according to different visa office.

thanx, guys and about my details i submitted my file in feb 2007 and received my AOR in 27 june 2007 in april 15 2009 i recived request to update my file.in july 20 2009 i sent copies of all documents with my IELTS result. again in august 14 they requested me to send proof of funds + original certificate of graduation and marks sheets for me and my wife and i sent them on 14 october 2009.
since then i did not hear from them. is that normal and when can i expect their answer.i always check my ecas but it shows in process.

38 NOCs guys will be issued with PR at first along with a very slow progress of the persons' apps who applied before the 38 NOC instruction. So you keep waiting.
