This is probably a dumb question, but I'm having a hard time finding answers for it. I was nominated a few weeks ago and notified my employers. They want me to start on Monday and I was going to fly out to Halifax tomorrow morning. The problem is, my nomination certificate and letter of support have not yet arrived in the mail. When applying for a work permit at the border, will they only accept the originals of those two documents or will they take copies? Does anyone have any experience with this?
 
The copies are fine. some provinces have stopped mailing the originals and they only use email and send you the electronic. as long as you have the true copies you will be fine they will verify the certificate number and nomination ID and that's about it.
