I'm trying to figure out what my options are to obtain PR without a university degree. All the information I've searched so far has been very complicated and confusing.

I'm currently half way through a 2 year WHV. I worked in Australia as a Data Analyst but obtained this role through the corporate ladder rather than having a university degree, so I'm missing out on points for not having a degree. Since coming to Canada I've been working as a cook, for a few months at a time. I would like to get PR, but if I apply as a skilled worker and then spend the rest of my WHV bound to a specific job just for the visa but then my concern is it will be a waist of time and I won't get PR.

What about Sponsorship? Is it feasible to find an employer willing to sponsor my PR toward the end of my WHV? I'm not 100% sure how sponsorship works.

I'm surprised it's so difficult to find well laid out information on what the best options are for obtaining a PR.

Any help and advice would be great. BTW, is it worth using an immigration consultant service? They're very expensive :o
