What year do I need the Option C tax thingie for? I spoke with the Canada Revenue people, and they say they can only send it for 2007, which is my last filed tax year. Is this useful at all? I think they want it for the previous year, don't they?

If that is the case, can i simply not include the Option C, and instead add my tax statements for my current job in Thailand, and have make a letter stating the reason for not including the Option C?

They only ask for the most 'recent' taxation year that it is available for, but you're right . . . if 2007 is the most recent then there would be much more value in submitting your foreign taxation documents. The "Option C" is free so perhaps request one and include it or not as you see fit.

Thanks. I will include both my current income / tax records, and the Option C... better to include more, than not enough.
