little confusing....

My boyfriend and I are applying under the family class. But having difficulty deciding what to do here. It is January and he hasn't received his T4 yet. Once he does, it will still take till at least June to get the assessment back and we were hoping to apply before then. We can get his assessment from the 2014 taxation year however, and include a copy of his T4 from 2015 once it arrives and explain on a separate sheet of paper. Will this be enough? Or will they question it? Really struggling with what to do here, please help!

If he filed taxes for the year 2014, then just include Option C printout for 2014. Once you have filed for 2015 and you get Option C printout for 2015, you can submit it later.

You will do just fine with 2014.

Don't stress! you can simply use the last 12 month period you filed your income tax return - in this case 2014. Simply request the option C for 2014 and you'll be ok.

You do not have to wait for 2015 option C - if they want it afterwards they will request it which I highly doubt.

I have called and requested option C print out and got it in less than two weeks. CRA works a thousand times quicker than CIC, so I don't think you should worry too much.
