Hey!

So I have my Option C paper which I ordered in June 2010 from Canada Revenue, we are finally ready to ship everything off (YAY)! But I am wondering if I need a new Option C printout with my income from last tax season, 2010. My husband’s police certificates and everything were issue in March and so I am a little nervous to put things off to get a new Option C and then risk those going bad, especially since they took months and months to get!

So my question is, can I hand in my Option C printout which I was given June 2010? I could also add my T4’s and everything for this year, I just filed for this year so I doubt that my Option C paper for this tax year is even ready....

I am sure that I am just over thinking things! But if all goes well I will mail everything off Tuesday morning after work!

Don't bother getting a new one. Last year I submitted an older Option C and then added my T4 slips for the current year (like you're thinking of doing). They accepted this without any issues.

If you look at number 17 on the checklist, it states a option C printout for the most recent taxation year.
So the one you have is not for the most recent taxation year. You should get a new one.
but if scylla didn't have a problem then maybe you wont either.

I agree with scylla. Include a letter explaining why you don't have the most recent tax year. You should be fine... I didn't have an Option C at all (for a few reasons) and was approved quickly.

you dont need to get new one...my husband used his old option c with No problem and i have my visa now
