Hi All,

My goal is to study in Canada then search for a work and then apply for permanent residence. For this I need certain guidelines.

I am graduated from the engineering career of the university INTEC in Dominican Republic as I understand my GPA or general index is 2.80 and so I have investigated this amount is not enough to apply for a master's degree at universities in Canada. I took the IELTS General test and take 6.5 on average.

My questions would be:
1. Is the index of 2.80 a variable that does not allow to enter some program of mastery of engineering in a university of Canada?

2. Would it be more convenient to start again with a college or other education that would be useful to me related to my objective and professional experience that is the manufacturing (Process Engineering)?

3. I have been using the tool "study in canada step 1 2 3" to have an idea of the budget i need, is it reliable the tool to get an idea of the costs?

Any other recommendations please let me know.

Thanks in advance

hi

You can get admission with this cgpa 2.80. if your first intention to do job then apply for immigration. if your main intention for study then takle academic IELTS and try to get minimum 6.5 overall. GRE will be plus for you to get fund ..trust me. Then apply 5-6 university , you will get admission sure.

As far i know , Canadian full time job depends upon your skills hard work and dedication. you may get part time job. you will required hard dedication if you want to get good job in your field .

thanks
