Hi all,
I have not been in touch with this Forum for couple of weeks and was busy collecting my documents for a full application to be send to London office.. When i downloaded this latest London specific forms i noticed that it list is changed now and they are asking teh employment contracts/ letter from main applicant's spouse as well which is uninformed change and me being spouse have not collected any of employment refernce letter from my past employer coz there was no such requirement when we got the intial approval.

Now i am bit of panic for this as list is different and we hardly have 2 months left to send me application. This london specific list is were updated in march 2010.
Can anyone know if there is transitional arrangements for those who had approvals before this list was introduced ?
Or m i looking at wrong list ???

Please help where ever you know..

Deep..

hmmmmm, Its normal that when they asked u to submitt full documents you printed the cheklist of london office and started work on it. now if it is changed in march, you cant just get additional documents overnight, so send the old checklist with a covering letter explaining this point and other (if there are any) that you will meanwhile get the remaining documents as per new cheklist. and send it later or wait for them to ask, but it would be better to send it. my openion

small question?
Why is it required to submit spouse's work experience if its not a Canadian experience. Does it count in assessment or its required to submit to show if she has to match with her background declaration history portion?

Thanks Romford..

But it will be intersting to hear what others seniors have to say about it..
Any one who had this expereicne please share ??

u must follow the up to date checklist as i saw somewhere in the forum that one applicant didn't submit the full docs according to new changes in visa office specific forms & it caused him/ her severe delays.

r u currently in different country to ur past/present employers?

@shibleebd ,

Yes i live in UK and not the country where my past employer were so there is no way in 2 months i could get letter from my previous employments..

I might be able to get one fom my current employer .. I will have to send email to london CIC office asking this..

hi DEEPAKBABBAR
in tht case u could:

1. call past employers in PK (if u hav their no.), ask them to give a refe. letter in proper format in letterhead
2. tell them u/ ur wife need this within 7 days as CHC needs it within a short time & explain them that u can't come right now. if u/ ur wife still a have a very good relation with the employers or someone in the company, u might be able to do this
3. ask someone like ur friend/ brother/ sister/ parents to go to the employers in PK to pick up hte letter
if u have come this far then:
4. ask ur relatives who have collected the ref. letter to send the letter to u by DHL/ Fedex/ TNT

if the above method doesn't work:
1. then just send now whatever u have got & try to collect the up to date ones at a later date
2. but write & attach a very good letter with it explaining why u will send the ref. letter at a later date

but plz bear in mind sending u/ur wife's ref. letter on a later date might cause severe delays in the processing
