Opinion poll -

Do you guys think CIC is ensuring the scores remain high going forward as they wish to attract people with 2 or more certificates or Master's only!!
Else they wish to attract people with either Canadian education or Canadian work experience.

A) Yes CIC wishes to move ahead in this direction . Thus they ensured the 28 day gap in May and increased the CRS to 470.

B) No, CIC is unable to manage volumes of applications and thus they are moderating the flow. Eventually once in a year they will do the B2B draw and lower the scores.

C) Unintentional. CIC not bothered about the scores.

D) Others - ( pls specify your answers)

Awaiting to hear from all of you!!

C. CIC has no control over what scores come in their pool. They've just given a draft of application to the public with points and based on each individual qualifications, they're selected. Now given that the word is out about Canada's express entry, more and more people with better qualifications than before are pooling in and surpassing previous requirements for ITA.

that was the case last year too, the word was out in 2015 and it became too popular after 2017!!
