opening an account in Canada prior to applying for study visa

I have got admission in RRU and now wants to open an account in Canada to show the funds. Anyone knows the process? And which bank offers this facility? Please help, I m getting late.

You can contact Kotak bank in India they have a tie up with SCOTIA bank in Canada.

You can contact Royal Bank of Canada, they have an option to open an account online.
Even I will be applying from UAE

I think in Scotia bank you can open an account but you cannot make any transaction prior to your flight. Check BMO.

New in this forum.I want to ask is it possible for an international student after arriving in Canada to defer his/her admission for another year?
Let's he /she suppose to start in September 2015 and defer it to September 2016 after arriving in Canada?
