open work permit

Hello,

i have a open work permit and moved over in may to calgary. My question is, is it possible to aply for permanent resident if i still work for a german company in germany. (I work from home in Canada).
I don`t have a job from a canadian employer.

I got my work permit for 2 years is it normal?

Hopefuly somebody can help me to answer my questions.

Did you check if you qualify for express entry ?
