I applied for PR through OPNP. I have PGWP that will expire soon, but I am not employed right now. I live in Canada. Now, I am applying for an OWP. When I go through the online questionnaire, at the end it says that I can apply for the OWP and TRV. Here are my questions:
1. Do I need to apply for TRV?
2. One of the questions in form IMM 5710 (WP) is this:
I am applying for one or more of these:
1. A work permit with the same employer
2. An initial work permit or a work permit with a new employer
3. Restoration of your status as a worker
4. Temporary resident visa
I am not sure which one of these applies to me since I don't have an employer right now, but I do have a soon to expire OWP.
3. Another question in that same form says:
Give details of your employment ...
and the current occupation field and employer is mandatory; but, I am applying for an OWP, this doesn't make sense to me, and I don't have a current employer anyway. What should I write here?
Thanks for reading my questions; any help is greatly appreciated.
