What are the chances for the open work pilot for spouses to be extended in 2018 also?

It was recently announced that this is no longer going to be a pilot program starting in 2018, it will just be a regular part of the process moving forward and will no longer need to be renewed from year to year.

Unfortunately I don't have a citation for this, it was something shared by IRCC to a member of a Facebook group I am in.
