just a brief background of my self,I started working in Canada under the live-in caregiver program dec.2008,to shortened the story got my open work permit issued to me and my pr is now in process,however I left Canada to stay for a 45 days vacation to see my family...I have a 6 year old daughter and unfortunately our nanny left and never came back,i don't have someone to look after my daughter since my husband works full-time too.so I decided to stay a little longer to find and train the new nanny as well. now that everything is settled with my family, I still want to come back to Canada to pursue my PR application,,i still have a valid re-entry visa and but the remaining validity of my work permit will only be 15 days once I get back to Canada ,Can they still allow me at the port, I'm planning to renew my open work permit once I get back, with the same employer,...What are my chances? did somebody had the same experience? please enlighten me...appreciate ur reply...
