We have inland spousal PR application for my husband in process. We had also applied for Open work permit in the same package to the Mississauga CPC centre. I have a file number for the PR application.
His work permit application was returned due to incomplete fee. CIC advised to complete fee and send completed application to an Edmonton processing centre. This update was shown on status online but we only knew once we received a mail from them. So we processed the right fee and reapplied JUST the work permit to the edmonton address. However I am not sure how this works so i was hoping one of you could clarify it for me.
1. When i login to check online, it only shows PR application. So how would i check the application status for work permit
2. I understand the processing center is different for work permits, so will i get a separate application number for that?
