I have not received any response after all the emails, even with mentioning my complete details to ChC. Are they are ::);

a) Thorough b) Subdued c) Working d) Discipline e) Asleep f) Supreme g) Caring h) "Professional" i) Dumping j) Lost k) Non of the alphas L) All of the alphas.

I also did not receive any email reply from them. Due to this delay, I am facing a lot of problems like

1) I have resigned from my current job as I needed to inform the employer two months advance.

2) My PhD course work and Fellowship/scholarship are starting from 02 May and it seems difficult that the university will delay my fellowship to the next term as they expect me to start work on a research project in May.

3) All of my original educational documents have been submitted with the visa application. If they are taking so much time, then there is no logic to keep our documents for months. Copies are enough if need to verify our degrees.

At the forum I came to know that I have applied lately for the visa, but I don't agree with this. Two months are more than enough. I don't know why are they delaying our cases.
 
@sardar ali .Yesterday evening i dropped an email . Today They got back to me 11.00 am . Don't use specific enquiry option . Use email address for general enquiry . To be honest, you guys are too late for may session if you did not receive medical call yet . It looks hopeless out there . You know what I mean, you buy tickets, take care of other things, arrange accomodation etc . It takes time. I don't know what's holding CHC back?

can you please share the email address u used to make the inquiry of your case? I emailed at islamabad-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca but did not get any reply.
 
The only solace you can drive from this whole madness is that you are not the only one. This is some serious crappy stuff on their part . Maybe you are another beneficiary for the Canada because of your educational caliber. Are they gonna interview you as well? If yes, it is gonna take for eternal. I'm feeling sorry for you guys typing all of this .

@sardar. Did you get your file number? I just asked for my file no and application status in the email. My meds are already done .
 
I don't know if they need to interview me or not. I would love to have an interview session with them.

Moreover, it will not take more than a month to finalize my case but the problem is that I guess they did not open my file yet. We are paying 125$ processing fee. Why need they increase their staff to process and finalize the cases on time. I am agree to even debate on this issue at some high level but I don't know how to get contacts (emails, phone numbers etc) of some higher authorities at CHC Islamabad.

Shoaib has rightly pointed out if they are asleep or etc etc?

@sardar . What's the point of asking for a file number when all you get is a copy-paste-reply. I hate the word queue. I have no clue on their workings. I try to figure it out but it is beyond comprehension. Who reviews your docs and application before sending meds? Visa officer? Pakistani staff?
 
I don't know who is reviewing my case. We are three colleagues in our lab at NUST. The other two applied to South Korea and got fully funded PhD scholarship like me. We all got our admission and scholarship letters in the last week of February. They got their visa in 2 days. No police clearance, medical tests or interviews were taken.

I am not interested in Canada but in the university and in the research adviser I got there. If I was aware of these complication, may be I did not apply here. Anyways, I am hoping for the best.
