On one of my sponsor forms (I'm the sponsor), I indicated I was working 1 job in 2013, but I actually worked a second job also in 2013 and forgot to include that (it's not a cash job, it's a real job with taxes and got a T4 slip and all). However, on one of the cover letters stating background of relationship, I mentioned twice that I worked 2 jobs in 2013 to save up for the wedding.

Is this a big deal or no? I'm sure CIC Mississauga would just run a quick check on my SIN to see I worked a 2nd job, and maybe just assume that I simply forgot it

You needn't worry mikeymyke. If they do check, and see you have two to back up what you mentioned in cover letter....you look pretty good. If they don't you have either one or two and thats fine either way.

If the error was on sponsored spouse ...i would be a little worried. But Your spplication and you as a sponsor should meet reqt.

Cheers!

If it will give you peace of mind, complete the form the send it along with a cover letter explaining error/omission.

I would normally say to mail in too. But your package is over ten pounds ;D. You are just worried. We all are.... Just wait patiently and trust that your application is complete. If you send a little mail in now, you don't know how the vo will view it. Save mailing reasons for your spouse.
Cheers

Mikeymyke,

I wouldn't be too worried about the smaller details of the second job you forgot to put into your application forms. It's an honest error. If CIC wanted to pick apart anyones application, they probably could. I think what's important is the fact that you have a job that can support the sponsorship application. ;D

Probably not a big deal for the sponsor. They just want to see that you had employment (i.e. able to support your wife / not on welfare / was working in Canada). You already proved that with putting down one job.

I think I'm not going to do anything about this, and wait it out. Yeah I don't think it's a big deal at all, just over thinking things. It's funny when you spend a long time compiling an application but forget small details.

Thanks guys.
